Why do it the CIP-WAY™?

There are NO credit checks, monthly bills, finance charges or bank accounts required. In fact, the A$$ETCARD™ is the "better than a bank account" way to deal with your cash. When your funds are stored in an electronic environment, it's highly secure and easy to access as needed. You also have the PIN-based technology that beats signature based cards hands down, due to the reduced risk for fraud and unauthorized transactions. Yet you get the same great convenience of being able to use your card worldwide, 24 hrs. a day at locations that you feel are safe and convenient to your needs.

When implemented, THE CIP-WAY™ provides a fundamental shift in the way community based organizations and non-profits can fund and support their efforts to provide proactive programs that help to revitalize communities throughout our country. Non Profit Organizations (NPO) can now participate in Communities In Partnership's Perpetual Funding Program to make a difference. An organization's traditional strategy for raising money to support their efforts, have largely been straight forward requests for money or contributions to their cause. That approach, with diminishing federal and state resources, is becoming more and more challenging. Everybody is competing for private sector resources to fill in the gaps created by a shrinking federal role. If the philanthropic community were forced to assume total support for programs affecting our nation's children and social services, or to substantially supplement the federal dollars being lost to those programs, their limited resources would not carry us very far and long.

Categorical grants continue to pit us against colleagues for the same few dollars that are available. Such competition for support makes collaboration harder and invites a resurgence of the "turf issue" CBO's have fought to overcome. The pie is shrinking everyday and government priorities shift with the wind. Non-profits must find new ways to support their efforts. Instead of relying mainly on government funding or fighting over smaller and smaller pieces of the pie, we must find new and innovative ways to make the pie bigger. The CIP-WAY™ makes the pie bigger and it levels the playing field. It gives everyone an opportunity to easily participate in your mission.

Generally, the businesses around us choose the non-profit cause they wish to support with some of their excess profits. Through the CIP-WAY™, non-profits are able to form win-win partnerships by choosing what line of businesses in or around their community that they wish to patronize, to create the profits needed to in turn support their public interest efforts. The CIP-WAY™ allows the CBO/NPO to align themselves with businesses that already have products and/or services they use and can tie their mission to the sales and distribution of the business who agrees to giveback a percentage of whatever you spend with them. When consumers use their A$$ETCARD™ to purchase these products or services, they will simultaneously be making a socially conscious decision to support the mission of their designated CBO/NPO and its members, while increasing all their own personal A$$ETS on a perpetual basis.

The CIP Perpetual Funding Program is based on a whole lot of people, doing their normal spending with their own co-branded A$$ETCARD™ (instead of cash or credit) and channeling the 75% giveback percentage that comes from CIP Corp.'s profits and merchant rebates right to the community organizations, charities, schools, etc. that they personally choose to support. Now your members, supporters, employees and consumers in general can shop with a purpose, as they "Save While Spending & Supporting with Dignity and Pride."

How Does It Work?

Simply apply to become a member of The CIP-WAY™ via one of our brochures, online or through one of our Marketing Partners.

Due to the requirements of the Federal Patriot Act, you will need to provide a verifiable U.S. address AND your Driver's License # OR Social Security # (for ID purposes only, not for a credit check) on your application.

As a member, your A$$ETCARD™ will arrive in approximately 15 business days. When you receive it, you will need to follow the enclosed instructions on how to activate the card and select a new PIN # via the toll free number.

Review your welcome kit to learn about all your great membership features and how to add value to your card. Now you're ready to go!

Just use your card wherever you see the logos on the back of the card. That includes gas stations, grocery stores, specialty stores, train stations and any of the other card features (i.e. wire transfers, phone card, etc.). CIP Corp. gives back 75% of our net processing revenue as a result of the profits generated from the card fees and merchant rebates.

If you see the CIP-WAY™ logo in a merchant's window, that also means that they are a Participating Giveback Member Merchant and when you use your A$$ETCARD™ there, they will pay a "rebate" of 2 - 22% to CIP Corp., which we will in turn pass on 75% of those profits to the community too.

Everything is tracked automatically through our own unique proprietary system, so you don't even have to think about it!

Our giveback percentages break down as follows:

  • 30% of the net processing revenue goes to the Non Profit Organization of your choice
  • 30% of the net processing revenue goes to the individual cardmember
  • 10% of the net processing revenue goes to our Collaborative Marketing Partners as applicable
  • 5% of the net processing revenue goes to our T.E.A.M. Relief Fund

We are the only card company that has made a commitment to pay you, your non- profit organization/charity and help support the community homeless/distressed with up to 75% of our profits - on a perpetual basis for as long as you continue using the card!
